After an ambitious selection process, the Spanish coordinator selected the 5 partners, after receiving more than 80 applications from different interested schools of the European Union. This process took two months of planification and work.

Here we are a brief description of all of them:

CENTRO RURAL DE INNOVACION EDUCATIVA DE CUENCA - SPAIN
Our institution, Educational Innovation Rural Center, is situated in the heart of Cuenca province, laid on the town of Carboneras de Guadazaón. We are a public school under administration of the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain; but we do not teach the regular curriculum. We cater for the educational needs of boys and girls from 10 to 14 years of age. Just over 1750 children visit our school during a scholar term. They come from their schools from all around the region of Castilla-La Mancha and they spend a whole week 24/7, sleeping and living with other children from all around the region. Mainly, they attend our innovative curriculum, which takes 5 days of English as a second language immersion, developing many activities which are taught from a innovative and creative methodology. Arts, Crafts, Sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle are also some of our main goals.We are the only and one educational innovation rural center in all our region, not being more that 10 in all the country. All the public schools in our region can attend our programme, in fact, we host each academic term around 65 schools, having more than 200 which are interested. Our activity is absolutely free for them and is supported by the regional administration.
As a school for all the region, children come from a broad range of socio-economic backgrounds, facing many challenges in our teaching, in particular social integration and English language acquisition. We believe that one way to overcome these problems is to encourage our students’ participation in different activities.
We are 16 people working in the center, having 6 teachers specialized in English as a Second Language. We also count each course with three teachers from The United States of America and Republic of Ireland, according to a program of our regional administration, which gives us the opportunity of having international teachers among us.


GRUND- UND REALSCHULE PLUS GEROLSTEIN - GERMANY 
Our school is located in the beautiful landscape “Eifel” between Cologne and Trier and next to the Belgian border. The city of Gerolstein is famous for the mineral water from the volcanic ground. At our Grund- und Realschule plus we have about 450 pupils from several nations, 40 teachers und 21 classes at the moment. We are a primary school and a secondary school. Our digitalization has started and we are able to teach with tablets and digital boards, that opens us much more opportunities in teaching. We are an inclusive school, so we also teach some pupils with disabilities and they are taught by special educated teachers. The school also provides social pedagogues that support us and obviously pupils with problems. We have half day and full day classes and pupils have their meals in a very modern school canteen. If wanted they can stay at school in the afternoon to do their homework with the support of teachers. Another really important target of our work is the transition to vocational education. Pupils of 8th and 9th class do practical training in enterprises, industry and so on. Pupils of 9th class even go one day a week in their internship, so there many of them who can start an education immediately after finishing school. Several events take place during the schoolyear, for example an autumn festival, sports events in summer, art exhibitions. For us it is important that our pupils are well educated and get a good start after school.

LATVIJAS UNIVERSITATE - LATVIA
The University of Latvia consistently retains the position of the national, leading and most influential higher education institution in Latvia. In terms of the total number of students, the University of Latvia is also the largest university in the country. It is the largest comprehensive university in Latvia with a prominent standing both in the development of the entire education system and in the overall growth of the country's economy. UL is a modern centre of academic and professional studies, which, along with research in natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, technical sciences and medicine provides opportunities to acquire various types and levels of higher education to the residents of Latvia and other countries. UL has a crucial role in the development of society's academic traditions, national economy, education, environment, and health protection, Latvian language, and culture. The opinion of the University of Latvia substantially contributes to public administration decision-making.
The Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art (FEPA) is the largest structural unit of the University of Latvia (UL), which contributes to the development of the most important humanities – education science and psychology – as well as the general design and interior design spheres in constant demand today. The faculty offers studies and research in education management with an emphasis on promoting leadership skills. FEPA is the largest educational and training centre for teachers and psychologists in Latvia. The faculty provides future teachers with an opportunity to study in accordance with the concept of the "School 2030" project and continue their career in teaching at any stage of education from pre-school to secondary school. At present, more than 4 000 students are enrolled in the faculty’s academic and professional bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programmes.

OSNOVNA SOLA POD GORO SLOVENSKE KONJICE - SLOVENIA
The most important task of the school is being active in multilingualism, flexible curriculum, overview of the curricular plans and contents along the school vertical, cross-curricular activities and formative monitoring. As a part of self-evaluation, we give special emphasis on reading literacy. We carry out mutual lesson observations where we observe cross-curricular activities, reading literacy development or formative monitoring. We are endeavouring to educate children as well as to upgrade educational plan of the school. Teachers use e-classrooms in their lessons (Mahara, Moodle, Google Classroom). We participate in the international project Start the change, carried out by Mladinski center Dravinjske doline (Youth centre of the Dravinja Valley). The project is based on transmission of democratic values, basic human rights, cross-cultural understanding, voluntarism and active citizenship among the youth. The aim of the project is to prepare young people to become responsible and educated members of our society. We have implemented an intergenerational project which promotes voluntary work. The students work as volunteers at the retirement home, kindergarten and school for students with learning disabilities. They also help each other with schoolwork.

RADVILISKIO VINCO KUDIRKOS PROGIMNAZIJA - LITHUANIA
Radviliškis is located in the northern part of Lithuania. There is an important bound of the railway junction. A lot of wonderful, creative and active people live here. Radviliškis Vinca’s Kudirka basic school provides its full-time self-training education of seven programs: preschool, primary, basic, primary- individualized, basic -individualized and informal education. School gives academic achievement certificates based on the order of Lithuanian Republic Minister of Education. The school provides help of psychologist, speech therapist, special educator, social pedagogue and health care professional. Pupils have an opportunity to use library, reading room, sport’s arena and aerobic-dance hall. In accordance with the procedure laid down pupils are supplied with free meals, well organized pupils’ transportation to school and the extended group activities. Every year our school performs basic education achievements’ inspection and also since 2015 standardized tests. Our school was built in 1968. There are 648 pupils who study in our school and 54 teachers that work there. The principal of our school is Rasa Dagienė. The school is appealing in development of students’ creative skills. All after school activities are organized according to students’ needs and preferences. A lot of programs such as sports, art, ecology and folk are considered as priorities of informal education. Every year our school is nominated for the best sports’ achievements in Radviliškis district. Our school folk clubs take part in National Songs Festival, dance contests and other concerts organized in our district.

SKOLA ZA OSNOVNO I SREDNJE OBRAZOVANJE "MILAN PETROVIC" SA DOMOM UCENIKA - REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
Elementary and secondary boarding school “Milan Petrovic” is the biggest, unique institution in the Balkan region. Our mission is to bring up, educate, support and empower children and adults with all kinds of disabilities following their needs through numerous contemporary and innovative programmes and activities. We invent, implement and promote open-minded, multidisciplinary approach to help their inclusion into the society throughout their life time. We are fully dedicated to lifelong learning process, obtaining our beneficiaries the possibilities for home learning, distance learning and adult education programmes. The school is a complex system of centers and services which, in addition to education, also include social welfare and health care services. The students and beneficiaries, from the youngest to rather old, are children and people with all types of disabilities - visual, hearing, autism, impaired motor skills, reduced intellectual abilities, multiple disabilities... In addition, we pay significant attention to educational and social inclusion, as well as to sociocultural activities of children, youth and adults who need specific social support. 1,200 direct users attend `Milan Petrović´ school. They are students of our primary and secondary school and beneficiaries of social welfare programs, aged one to 69 years. Along with them, there are more than 600 indirect users, i.e. children and students who, in inclusive education, attend regular kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Our special teachers and speech therapists provide additional support to them as well. More than 300 special teachers of all profiles, teachers, professional associates, vocational education teachers, educators, professional workers and associates in social welfare, doctors, medical technicians, technical and administrative workers are employed. In addition to education, as our core business, we also provide services and programs in the field of social welfare and health care. In the field of social welfare, they include support for persons with disabilities and their families, sensitization of the professional and external public, as well as constant improvement and innovation of services and programs. Currently, about 2000 people with disabilities are included in these services. Beneficiaries are: children and young people with disabilities - physical, intellectual, mental, sensory, speech, socio-emotional or multiple disabilities up to 26 years of age, as well as adults and the elderly with disabilities - physical, intellectual, sensory, mental or communication difficulties.
